Pitch

Audience feedback: Strengths
1)  People thought that our idea was creative and exceptional.
2) In response to the idea of Priscilla's best friend texting, somebody suggested that we should keep our original idea since the genre of our film is horror and therefore, unrealistic or supernatural elements are expected.

Weaknesses
1) People thought that the idea of the hand at the end of the scene was too complicated.
2) People thought that the ideas were too much so we should therefore cut out some scenes including the hand scene.
3) People thought the our plan was unrealistic because the actors appear to look like characters off American drama.
4) People were confused with the narrative.
5) An individual thought that it should be Priscilla's best friend texting as opposed to Priscilla herself texting.
6) The idea of the film being in a non-linear order is too complicated.
7) People thought that dialogue was needed to make the storyline more easier to understand however, we still kept the idea of having no dialogue as we thought that it would be more effective in relating to our genre of horror.

Changes made:

1) We cut out the last scene of the hand appearing as we agreed that it was too complicated.
2) We tried to simplify some elements of the scene to make sure our extract fit to 5 minutes.
3) The actors no longer have to look exactly like the characters produced, we will be getting characters that look similar; if not this will be successfully achieved through make-up and appropriate costumes.

Induction of cameras

As me and my group will be producing a short film, at the start of September we had an induction day about camera equipment; I managed to attain useful notes.
A boom pong is the stand that is needed in order for the person who holds the boom pong to keep distance away from the speaker. This is achieved through the microphone being attached to the front of the boom pong.

It is also important to check if the person is holding the boom pong right as the person's position effects the quality of sound produced by the speaker.

After attaching the microphone onto the boom pong, another individual should collect and turn on the recorder. This can be achieved through turning on the switch; the recorder is needed in order to record the sound and further play it back for any mistakes or errors.

As the holder turns on the recorder their will be a meter which records the volume of the sound. The bigger the meter the louder the sound however, the smaller the meter the quieter the sound.
